Chicago has one of the lowest recycling rates in the US, despite having the necessary facilities and infrastructure. This app addresses a root cause of the problem: the lack of proper information about recycling and insufficient trust in the system and community. Recycle Chicago aims to increase the city’s waste diversion rates by empowering residents with reliable information and fostering a stronger recycling community.

Honoring Resilience is a new non-profit organization focused on helping individuals heal from adverse experiences and break the cycle of generational trauma. Since the organization is new and doesn’t have many testimonials yet, we addressed this challenge by sharing the founder’s personal story and providing detailed information about the organization’s activities. This approach helps build credibility and trust with the community.
